1988 Yamaha Other on 2040-motos
Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
Get ready for adventure on the open road! This is a great touring bike at very affordable price. I've owned the bike for one year, and I'm ready to upgrade -- hoping to find a happy home for this vintage beauty. The engine runs strong and quiet, and for its age this bike is in really nice shape. I've installed a handlebar mount for a phone and a USB cable so you can keep it charged while using your favorite mapping app. The radio works fine, although not shown in the photos -- it's removable with the touch of a button as an anti-theft precaution. Please note that replacement parts for these older Yamaha Ventures are readily available on eBay and other websites. Some features:

Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
A crater looking for a grid reference?
Tue, 28 Sep 2010THIS IS the 'Black Devil' - the latest traffic jam-busting, kamikaze two-wheel nutcase who seems to have little respect for not only his own life but eveyone else on the road, too. The rider in question has filmed himself tearing up Moscow's roads in a suicidal fashion, diving between lines of traffic in a bid to impress viewers of his hi-speed antics aboard a Yamaha R1. If he keeps this kind of activity up expect a report on his untimely demise sometime in the near future.
