Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
It is a matchnig numbers (engine/frame) bike. I will work with you if you are having this shipped but encourage any bidder to come look at the bike first or bring a mechanic. It's super clean with many new parts like a new clutch, new front tire, fenders, piston, etc. It has great compression and I have the title in hand. I think the previous owner said it was powder coated which it looks like it to me by the way the vin was taped off. It lost spark so it may be just points, coil or even just a ground (maybe the ground because of the frame paint/powder coat?). I got this as a package deal and I'm only keeping the other bike.

Yamaha Tops Second Day of Sepang Test as Honda Twiddles Thumbs
Wed, 29 Feb 2012Ben Spies topped the time sheets ahead of teammate Jorge Lorenzo as Yamaha continued its MotoGP pre-season testing in Malaysia. While their rivals at Honda were idled by an engine problem, the two factory Yamaha riders found improvement on their Day One times and gathered data about riding in both wet and dry conditions. Spies set the best lap time at 2:01.285 while testing different chassis settings in the morning.
Yamaha Champions Riding School To Debut One-Day “Day Camps” This August
Tue, 22 Jul 2014On August 13, the Yamaha Champions Riding School, at New Jersey Motorsports Park, will debut its new one-day clinic. In addition, YCRS will head an N2 Track Days SED or “Skills Enhancement Day” on August 12. After eight successful two-day programs in the past four months, the YCRS Day Camp is being put into play and being paired with the proven success of the N2 (formerly NESBA) SED.
BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
