Super low miles. Custom matte black and matte silver paint. Fork gaiters. Clip-ons (cafe racer style handlebars). Fender eliminator kit, led lighting kit, wide rear wheel kit, D&D TT Race exhaust, D9 layflat bracket for tach and speedo. Exhaust is loud. Not soft, like most Triumph exhaust kits out. This one is awesome. Check out some of the youtube videos featuring the TT exhaust on the Thruxton. Fully repaired with exception of engine cover. I left the one scratched bit as a reminder/bit of character--like a scar that reminds you of what not to do again. Freedom Friday Photo Contest
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Freedom Friday is a call-to-action on the AMA’s Facebook page each Friday to alert motorcyclists about issues posing threats to motorcycling freedoms. Riders can partake in a weekly contest related to these issues and win prizes. Each week’s Freedom Friday photo contest asks AMA members to send a photo of themselves, preferably with their bike, near a symbol of the current topic. The issue that kicks off today is access discrimination, which can be illustrated with a photo of a “No Motorcycles Allowed” sign, “Wilderness” sign or anything related to freedom to illustrate their concern as a motorcyclist.
2012 Triumph Bonneville T100 110th Anniversary Edition Revealed
Thu, 15 Mar 2012Triumph revealed a limited edition model commemorating the brand’s 110th anniversary. Triumph has done a good job trading off of a history that traces back to 1902, so it’s fitting the English marque would recognize the anniversary with a special edition version of its classically-styled Bonneville T100. We had an inkling the 2012 Triumph Bonneville T100 110th Anniversary Edition was on its way after we saw its CARB approval documents a few weeks ago.
2012-2013 Triumph Street Triple and Daytona 675 Hit with Nissin ABS Recall
Mon, 29 Jul 2013A manufacturing error by brake manufacturer Nissin has claimed another motorcycle maker. Triumph is recalling the 2012-2013 Street Triple, Street Triple R, Daytona 675 and Daytona 675R because of the problem with the Nissin-supplied anti-lock brake modulator. The issue has already resulted in recalls for the 2014 Honda CTX700 and CTX700N, the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 (and the Ninja 250 offered in Asian markets) and the 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa.
