THIS IS A 1959 TRIUMPH CHOPPER T110 I JUST FOUND. IT WAS SITTING IN A GARAGE FOR LAST 20 YEARS. THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT PROJECT FOR SOME BODY. WOULD NOT TAKE MUCH TO GET IT ROAD WORTHY. IT DID NOT RUN WHEN I BOUGHT IT, I CLEANED THE CARB AND FILED THE POINTS IN THE MAG GOT GOOD SPARK GIVE IT A FEW KICKS AND IT STARTED THE ENGINE SOUNDS STRONG. THE ENGINE LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY REBUILT IT AND NEVER GOT IT RUNNING WHEN LOOK THROUGH THE SPARK PLUG HOLES THE PISTONS ARE SHINY AND THE INSIDE OF THE DRAG PIPES ARE NEW NO CARBON. THE CARB NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AS IT IS TO SMALL AND IT FLOODS OUT. THERE IS A GENERATOR AND VOLTAGE REGULATOR THAT GO WITH IT. WITH A LITTLE WORK AND SOME TLC YOU COULD BE RIDING THIS BIKE AS YOU FIX IT THE WAY YOU WANT IT. Since then, the 69 year-old industrial designer has become obsessed by fuel consumption - or rather highlighting how poor motorcycles are delivering impressive figures. He originally ran a series of fuel challenges in the eighties and now the economy has taken a nose dive, he has resurrected the competition, figuring that the time is now right to highlight these issues again. According to Vetter, three of every four American gallons of petrol is imported – reason enough to devote his time to raising awareness.

Thu, 22 Aug 2013Triumph has updated its modern classics lineup for 2014 with minor styling updates for the Bonneville, Thruxton and Scrambler. Otherwise, all three models return unchanged mechanically with some new colors (the colors listed below were announced for the U.K. market; Triumph may have different options for the U.S.) The 2014 Triumph Bonneville receives a new pillion grab rail and a new vinyl seat with improved filler material to improve rider comfort.
2012-2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Tiger 800 Recalled in Canada
Mon, 25 Mar 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 and 2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple and Tiger 800 because of a flaw in their turn signals. Several members of the Motorcycle.com forum network’s TriumphRat.net community have reported issues with turn signals breaking off, and this recall appears to address the issue. According to Transport Canada, the supports for the front and rear turn signals were incorrectly manufactured and may break.
