The bike has only 3355 miles, garage kept of course. The bike is in showroom condition. Bought the bike in May of 2014 at Henleys in Pa. The bike still has a warranty till June of 2019. It came with a 5 year warranty at the time. I have since then added Freedom Performance Exhaust Headers and a new windshield which is approx. 4 inches lower then the stock one. I still have the original windshield and exhaust system that came with the bike. I have taking off the passenger seat since i ride solo but also have that too. The custom paint job was done in Little Rock Arkansas who is same painter that does Gregory Polaris paint work. The bike has 10 coats of clear and the Indian script is not a decal, it is in the paint. I live in Gilbertsville PA which is approx. 1 hour from Philadelphia. If you want more pics just let me know. I am listing the bike for a co worker and will tell you that you will not find a nicer, cleaner used Indian. |

Collection Of Rare Indian Motorcycles Up For Auction, March 8
Tue, 14 Jan 2014On March 8, four rare Indian motorcycles, some of which date back over a century, will be up for auction at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. Now in its 16th year, the single-day sale includes a stunning roster of more than 80 investment-quality vehicles including a stellar group of early Indian motorcycles. The oldest of the collection is a 1909 Indian 5HP Light Twin. This model is significant as it marks Indian’s departure from using modified bicycle frames to incorporating loop frames, previously only seen on the company’s racing motorcycles. A new, streamlined torpedo-type gas tank was fitted between the upper and lower tank rails, and oil was carried in a large capacity half-gallon tank that was fixed to the frame beneath the seat.
Indian Motorcycle Rolls in to Cleveland for the IMS

Following much of the same schedule that was used in the Washington, DC IMS event, Indian Motorcycle will keep the program action-packed for all attendees who visit the Indian display area. Two Recall Campaigns for 2009-2011 Indian Motorcycles
Mon, 11 Jul 2011Polaris issued two separate recalls for 2009-2011 Indian motorcycles, one for a problem with the headlight and another with the kickstand. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the kickstands on 2009-2011 Indian motorcycles may not fold up and to the rear if the motorcycle is moving forward with the stand deployed.
