Only 152.8 miles since ground up rebuild Restored/Customized by Elmer Lower, who has hundreds of Indian restorations to his credit, many of them AMCA winners Custom Paint Scheme Air brushed WW2 Pin Up favorites on fenders: Betty Grable and Rita Hayworth Motor Stroked to 80 cubic inches Bonneville Cams Electronic Ignition Electric Start 4 Speed Transmission with overdrive 12 volt electrics 1950-1953 Hydraulic Front End Custom Seat and Windshield bag Electric Start and 4 speed Transmission cost approx. $10,000 just by themselves Electric Start was installed after photos were taken. Electric start requires removal of original kicker and chain guard. Original kicker and chain guard included. New York does not issue a title for vehicles of this vintage. There is a "transferable registration" which is perfectly valid. |

Rockerbox Motofest Moves To Road America
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Wisconsin’s premier motorcycle show, The Rockerbox Motofest, featuring an eclectic mix of Euro, Japanese and American vintage café racers, choppers, sport bikes, racing machines, super motos, scooters, and sidecars is making an official move for the future. Instead of its usual Milwaukee home, the event is making the trek 60 miles north to America’s national park of speed as part of Road America’s American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) Vintage Motorcycle Classic, June 6-8. The Rockerbox Motofest includes a ride-in bike show and competition showcasing the greatest in classic style, fresh customization, plus all that is unusual and incredible.
Legends Ride Stops Sturgis Traffic
Tue, 06 Aug 2013This is a small sample of the participants in Monday’s annual Legends Ride from Deadwood to Sturgis. Hundreds of bikes thundered through the Black Hills toward Sturgis on Monday afternoon, creating a cacophony not heard in these parts since, well, last year. The sixth annual Legends Ride draws thousands of riders, spectators and celebrities to the historic city of Deadwood, South Dakota each year on a charitable pilgrimage to the Buffalo Chip Campground, and organizers said Monday’s edition was likely the largest ever.
July Is Women’s Motorcycle Month

In fact, according to the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC), women riders increased by 34% between 1998 and 2003. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) also says women make up nearly 30% of students in its Basic RiderCourses program.
