Beautiful very rare 1948 Indian Chief only the 2nd owner of this bike bought in 1962. Motor has been rebuilt and only has 3000 miles on it everything is original on the bike. This is chain driven with a 3 spd transmission tires are like brand new has dual brakes and original clutch assembly. This type of bike in this this condition does not come along often!! Indian FTR Carbon differs from the base model in the wide use of carbon fiber parts: the false tank and air filter housing, headlight housing, decorative passenger seat cover and front fender are made of carbon fiber. The motorcycle also has an Akrapović exhaust system made of titanium alloy. Otherwise, the Indian FTR Carbon is completely identical to the S-version of the FTR 1200.
