I have a mint 2010 Ducati 1098 Streetfighter with 12,097 miles for sale. I am selling as I don't have the time anymore to ride all my toys and I find myself gravitating towards my Jetski and snowmobile when I do ride. There is also a new truck on the way and I want a new sled that's coming out this year so I've decided to sell my baby to fund the other projects. This particular bike has some work done to it and all mods are tasteful. I had the bike professionally custom painted by a friend of mine who owns a custom paint and fabrication shop so the job was done right. It was painted in a Molten Orange Candy. It has 3 silver base layers, 5 coats of molten orange candy and 3 coats of clear. The decals were custom made in the size and font they were made from the factory and cleared into the paint as they are from factory. It is a real sharp, classy looking bike and I have had nothing but rave reviews. The bike currently has a number of aftermarket add ons. The list of current add ons are as follows Termi slip ons with Ducati ecu K&N Air Filter Fender Eliminator Kit TWM Billet Black gas cap have stock gas cap as well Morimoto HID kit Foam Grips stock grips are still in place the foams were overlayed to increase thickness and comfort Ducati comfort seat Billet gold clutch pressure plate with brand new Bartlett clutch pack 300 miles on new clutch pack Bitubo Gas steering stabilizer with 18 points of adjustment New Pirelli tires front and rear 500 miles on tires Rox FX 2" risers This bike is immaculate front to rear. EICMA 2012: 2013 Ducati Hypermotard Gets New 821cc Liquid-Cooled Engine
Mon, 12 Nov 2012Ducati is streamlining its Hypermotard lineup for 2013, replacing its air-cooled 796 and 1100 models with a new 821cc liquid-cooled Hypermotard. Announced at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy, the line now includes the Hypermotard, the Hypermotard SP and the more touring-oriented Hyperstrada which you can read about in a separate post. Bowing to ever tightening environmentally-friendly restrictions, the new generation of Hypermotards come equipped with a new 821cc version of Ducati’s Testastretta V-Twin engine.
EICMA 2012: Ducati Unveils Track-Oriented 1199 Panigale R for WSBK Homologation
Mon, 12 Nov 2012Ducati has unveiled a new R version of its 1199 Panigale, providing an upgraded version of the sportbike for World Superbike homologation. Unveiled at the 2012 EICMA Show, the 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale R is based on the S model but with lighter components, ABS standard, a higher-revving engine, an adjustable swingarm pivot and full race kit. The Panigale R’s 1198cc engine receives new titanium con-rods Ducati claims shaves 1.38 pounds off the overall weight.
