Ducati Supersport description
2011 Ducati 1198 SP This bike runs perfect and is ready for the track or street. 2,300 original miles. It's still on the Manufactures Certificate of Origin and has never been titled for the street. It can easily be titled if you'd like to ride it on the street.
This bike has all the original wiring in tact and the lights can be reinstalled, though I do not have them. Available for a closer look in Brooklyn, NY. Feel free to ask questions and thanks for looking. |

Mon, 13 Feb 2012The international Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released a provisional entry list for the 2012 Superstock 1000 Cup. Though it has yet to be included on the official FIM homologation list, the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale is listed six times, representing three different teams. The 1199 is expected to be added to the entry list this month, as homologation is all but a formality at this point for the most anticipated sportbike of the year.
Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3
Sun, 03 Apr 2011So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster). The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.
