2008 Aprilia SXV550 in very good condition. About the funnest thing on wheels. 6675 miles and increasing. All stock except:
-AF1 single-stage air filter. -Homemade tail tidy with LED taillight (originals included in sale) -Turn signals removed (included with sale) -Bar-end mirror -Painted wheels -Skateboard-wheels-and-threaded-rod axle sliders -Michelin Pilot Power tires Engine rebuilt by Allen Noland (USA's SXV specialist) in early 2014 with new DLC lifter buckets and all bottom-end seals and bearings. Receipt available. 1,100 miles since rebuild and running like a top. New battery on 11/10/2016. Sold with about a gallon of spare Motul, several oil filters and o-rings, and an XV Tuner cable (and software). Bike is located in Rock Hill, SC and for pickup only. Aprilia Experience Coming To Miller WSBK This Weekend
Tue, 22 May 2012As the World Superbike championship makes its next stop at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah this weekend, Aprilia USA will be on hand and is inviting everyone to be a part of the “Aprilia Experience.” Beginning Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28, Aprilia will be showcasing many of its popular models, including the Tuono V4R APRC, RSV4 Factory APRC, Shiver 750 and Dorsoduro 1200. Best of all, each of these four motorcycles will be available for demo rides throughout the weekend, on a route traversing the local mountains and canyons. In the display area, product specialists will be on hand to demonstrate key features of each motorcycle, as each is littered with technology that can be confusing for the unprepared.
EICMA 2008: First Impressions

I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
EBR 1190 Wins 2011 European Superbike Championship
Wed, 02 Nov 2011Harald Kitsch and the Pegasus Race Team has won its second championship on the EBR 1190RR, capturing the 2011 European Superbike open race class title. The championship follows Kitsch’s win in the 2010 Sound of Thunder V-Twin Championship on the Erik Buell Racing racebike. While the Sound of Thunder championship was won against other V-Twin machines, the European Superbike class included sportbikes from the Japanese Big Four, BMW, Aprilia and Ducati.
