New Aprilia Scarabeo Scooter Videos are Kinda Lame

Thu, 11 Jun 2009

Aprilia just posted some new videos on YouTube for their 2009 Scarabeo scooters and damn, they are cheesy.  The most cheesy thing about them is the music.  The 80′s called… The 3 minute video features several different kinds of Aprilia Scarabeo scooter and each one has its own “music” to accompany it.  Awesome! Check the full article for the post.  Make sure you have your speakers cranked so people around you can enjoy. Get the Flash Player to see this player.

Aprilia Files Appeal for Monza Race 2 WSBK Results

Thu, 16 May 2013

As expected, Aprilia has filed an appeal with the International Motorcycling Federation‘s International Disciplinary Court for the finish to the second race of the past weekend’s World Superbike Championship round at Italy’s Monza circuit. The race ended in controversy stemming from Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes running wide on a corner and missing a chicane on the final lap. Sykes was in third place at the time ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvian Guintoli, and was able to return to the track ahead of Guintoli, crossing the finish less than a second ahead of the Aprilia rider to take third place.

Aprilia SR Max Touring Scooter Unveiled

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

Aprilia has unveiled a new touring scooter, the Aprilia SR Max, available in 125cc and 300cc configurations. Okay, perhaps “new” isn’t the right word for it, as the SR Max is a rebadged version of the Nexus from Aprilia’s Piaggo Group stablemate, Gilera. It’s also not clear if Aprilia will import the SR Max to North America, but the scooter is more likely to pop up here, where Aprilia already offers the SR 50 scooter, with its new name, than it would as a Gilera.
