For your consideration is 1979 Yamaha Special 1100. Initially designed as a British cafe racing bike and this version was only released for two years, 1979 and 1980. Carburetor needs cleaning but still fires off and runs. **NO TITLE**NO TITLE**NO TITLE** - makes it easy to register in Alabama, Georgia. According to Georgia DMV, Motorcycles 1985 and older do not require a title, but I can and will provide a bill of sale which allows any buyer to register the vehicle in their name. Isle of Man TT 2013: Dainese Superbike Race Results
Mon, 03 Jun 2013It was delayed by a day but the Isle of Man TT’s Dainese Superbike race finally went underway Sunday. Originally scheduled to open the 2013 Isle of Man TT, the race was pushed back a day because poor weather earlier in the week prevented proper practice and qualifying. Even then, the Superbike race was delayed 45 minutes from its rescheduled start time due to a traffic accident.
Jefferies' TT V&M R1 for sale
Tue, 26 Apr 2011We got a tip-off about a former David Jefferies TT R1 for sale on eBay. The owner says it's from the 1998 TT but I'm pretty sure it was the one he raced in 1999. Here's a little bit more background about the V&M TT effort in 1999: In 1990 Jack Valentine gave up racing to concentrate on running V&M Racing, and after being sacked by Honda at the end of the 1998 season, the team set about to do some giant killing.

The rival of the BMW F800 GS/F 800 GS Adventure and the promising KTM 790 Adventure borrowed the 689cc inline-two from the Yamaha MT-07 and XSR700 (on these bikes it develops 74.8 hp and 68 Nm).
