Yamaha XS description

1972 Yamaha XS650 for sale.

This bike is original paint and in pretty solid condition for its age. It starts easily , runs good , and shifts through the gears. Petcock seals were replaced due to leaking petcock. Bike has brand new front tire (under 5 miles of test riding). Rear tire is near new. Bike could use some polishing and clean up, but is more than street worthy as is. It has 6987 original miles. The bike may still need some fine tuning, but starts, runs, shifts and stops now. It's one major flaw, is the dent on the right side of tank. I have seen some nice condition tanks sell for under $100 on here, and had planned on buying one to put on the bike, but a nice enough one has not come up for sale. Thankfully, they can be found though! The bike has a clean and clear, ready to transfer title. I can store for up to 30 days after payment is made, and can work with your shipper if needed. International buyers are welcome, but please message me before purchase.

$500 non refundable deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction, with the rest paid via wire transfer or cash before pick up.

Please examine the pictures CLOSELY, and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have before purchase.

Today´s stage five from Chilecito to Tucuman was characterized by hot temperatures, lots of sand and navigation in dry vegetation. Organizers decided to cancel the second part of the special for safety reasons and also because heavy thunderstorms threatened the area.

50th Anniversary Yamaha Special Edition R1? Yes Please!

Fri, 09 Sep 2011

When Yamaha unveiled its 50th anniversary edition red and white livery for its M1 MotoGP machines in May, one question came immediately to mind: when can we get the special edition R1? The red and white design was created to celebrate Yamaha‘s 50th year in Grand Prix racing. Yamaha factory racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies debuted the livery at the Assen round in June, which saw the American Spies nab his first a career MotoGP win.
