1982 Custom Built Motorcycles Bobber on 2040-motos
Yamaha Bobber tech info
Yamaha Bobber description
When I purchased this bike it was missing lots of pieces and parts and was without title. It had been kept indoors. I completely went through the engine which looked good so it appeared to have low mileage. The transmission and clutches looked good. I installed new gaskets, new starter, ignition module, Bendix and new battery. The carburetors were missing so I installed a custom-made intake and a new Harley CV carburetor. Tires are new. Front has flaw in whitewall where brake fluid dripped on it during storage. The early Virago's starter rattles when engaged, which is no issue because engine starts right up on first crank. The odometer was purchased through eBay so the mileage is not accurate. Speedometer works. No Tachometer. No turn signals. I drive it occasionally and it idles, shifts and runs great. Very dependable. As you can see by the pictures, it's a beautiful bike.
