Triumph Tiger description

Very rare pre war triumph 1940 tiger 100 . The frame that the motor is in is a post war triumph, it comes with the sale  The frame that is being sold with the motor is TF 3218, the frame is in very good shape. The rear frame loop as you can see in the pictures has side car lugs on one side which is also correct for a pre war triumph, both front and rear frame loops have NOT been altered in any way. The panel tank has been redone by Ross in Canada and is perfect. Please look at the parts in the pictures that come with the sale. I have girder forks that are near new and correct that I will be listing soon , but are for 1938 and 1939 Triumphs, no check springs but that is simple to change just find the correct pieces. I will not ship , for pick up only in Mt Dora Florida , close to Orlando or I can bring to Barbers in two weeks. Also the motor turns over and the gears are in the trans. The very hard to find items are there, these 1940 Tigers are very rare and its priced very reasonable. Please feel free to email me with questions.
I am relisting this Tiger 1940 and have a but it now for $ 5800.00.  If you have a tank of your own I will deduct $800.00 for the reconditioned Panel Tank, that is what I have invested.
Overseas Buyers please pay with a wire transfer .
Thanks

Triumph Speed - A City Tool

Thu, 29 Apr 2010

The Triple and I have covered 2500 miles now and most of that has been commuting through London. Last year I was riding Kawasaki’s ZX-6R and the constant gear changing, braking and acceleration was taking its toll. After 5000 miles the Kwak was feeling loose, rough and generally hard to ride smoothly.

If Carlsberg made race circuits...

I should have filed this blog an hour earlier but I became distracted by the human circus that is the Jeremy Kyle show. It’s a shameful admission, I know, but I’m a firm believer in the policy of honesty being the best. Enjoying the luxury of working from home, I was only making myself a bacon sandwich with the TV on in the background when excited cries of ‘Freak, Freak!’ from Mrs MF drew my attention to this (see pic).

McQueen’s Husky on the Auction Block

Fri, 16 Nov 2012

Thirty-two years after his death, Steve McQueen still reigns as the coolest movie star to ever ride a motorcycle. One of his preferred brands was Husqvarna (another, seen here, was Triumph) and to the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts and McQueen fans alike, one of his bikes will soon be in the hands of a new owner. This 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross owned and ridden by Steve McQueen will be up for auction on January 10th, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, by Bonhams. The motorcycle comes with an exhaustive quantity of documents supporting its provenance and authenticity.
