For sale is a 1967 Triumph 650 Tiger (TR6R) Complete and original with all matching numbers. The mileage is 15,291 and will go up as bike is ridden frequently. It has a Boyer Bransden ignition, high output stator for electronic ignition, the original amal carb fitted with an over-sized N.O.S. slide, and gold seal Dunlop tires. There has been some minor rider restoration done, including paint that was duplicated using Glasurit bc/cc. The bike also has a lot of the parts that still retain the stove enameling. The trumpet megaphone exhaust is beautifully tuned. The bike has been meticulously maintained, is mechanically sound, and is a great rider. Selling for a friend who travels a lot and wants to sell his collection. I am helping him. The bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. South West Motorcycle Show 2010, August 28th & 29th
Tue, 17 Aug 2010Need something to do on August Bank Holiday weekend, then read below: "Although the South West Motorcycle Show has been running at the Westpoint Arena for the last sixteen years, 2010 is the first year that the show hosts the all-new Vertical Trix European Stunt Championship. The show contains all the usual attractions that have been delivered to motorcyclists from over the south-west and further afield since 1994 – including all the appropriate trade stands, and with strong support from local dealers – plus attractions such a a dyno on site, restaurant, bar, bike displays, live music and of course the live action arena. Although the action in the show arena has previously been stunt displays, rather than a full-on competition.
Prince William The Duke Of Ducs And Other Motorcycles
Mon, 02 Dec 2013The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.
