Triumph Sprint description

I love the Sprint GT. I traded in a 2006 ST to get this bike. Plenty of power and loads of torque from as low as 2000 rpm. This bike just went through factory service and the tires have very few miles on them and plenty of tread. The extended warranty is good until mid 2017. It has 15,700 miles on it, mostly commuting miles. The removable bags have a large capacity and just have some minor scratches.

I'm listing it with a reasonable buy it now price and low reserve because I need to sell it to clear space in my garage.

Shipping will be the winning bidder's responsibility but I'm willing to drive it a limited distance if you'd like to meet me somewhere to take delivery.

The Fonz Never Really Rode a Motorcycle!

Tue, 02 Jun 2009

According to the “King of Cool” himself, “The Fonz” (Henry Winkler) never actually rode any motorcycles during the ten year Happy Days television run.  Winkler, never rode a bike in real life either, he has dyslexia, which made it difficult for him to co-ordinate the clutch, throttle and brake.  Instead, the bikes (Harley Davidson’s, Triumph’s, BSA’s were used) were mounted on a piece of wood with wheels to make it look like he was riding, even though I am not shocked, I am a little disappointed… You can watch the interview with Winkler, the famous motorcycle jump “The Fonz” made over 14 trashcans and a bonus “Jump the Shark” video after the jump. Mon, 27 May 2013

One of two recalls recently announced for the 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple in Canada has now been announced for the U.S. Following the earlier recall announced by Transport Canada, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced a recall for the Speed Triple because the neutral indicator light may incorrectly remain lit when the motorcycle is actually in gear.

2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple Transmission Recall Now Includes US

Fri, 31 May 2013

As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for the 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple because the transmission may have been built with the wrong detent arm spring. A similar recall was announced for Canada earlier this month, so we knew it was a matter of time before the recall was announced for the U.S. market.
