Suzuki SV description

I have a 2003 Suzuki sv650s i am looking to sell. It has a few mods done to it and runs great. Currently has 88xx miles. The suspension was recently upgraded and it made a HUGE difference.  The bike has never been to the track and is always garage kept. This is a killer bike but I've kind of lost interest. Sport bikes aren't really my thing. (nor does my back appreciate it)  I am looking to sell this to get a different motorcycle (i.e: sportster, caferacer, ducati, triumph or bmw)  The bike is listed locally, I reserve the right to end this ad early.  I currently ride the bike everyday and the mileage will be going up until it is sold.  I will update the mileage as it increases and will update if there is any change in condition.  The bike is described to the best of my ability.  If you have any questions please ask before bidding.  If you ship the bike you assume all responsibility for any damage occurred during shipping. (buyer to arrange)

mods done:
-purple/teal chameleon paint (~$1000)
-puig hugger fender (~$150)
-hotbodies under tail kit (~$200)
-led front turn signals (~$30)
-aTRE plug (~$30)
-oem forks upgraded w 1.0 racetech and set up by thermosman (good for 185-200lbs) (~$500)
-new zx-14 rear shock (~$100)
-took reflectors and some decals off
-bar end mirrors (~$30)
-new grips (~$30)
-scorpion slip on (converted to shorty) (~$400)
-adjustable racing levers (~$40)
-k&n air filter (~$40)
-smoked windshield (~$50)

-custom tag bracket
-blue halogen headlight bulbs

recent work:
2 new pirelli diablo rosso corsa tires (about 400 miles ago) (~$300)
new filter/oil change
new battery (in may)
spark plugs
coolant flush
new suspension (about 4 weeks ago)

the bad:
a few minor scratches on the paint. the original owners mother knocked the bike over backing up. (see pics)
rear seat lock/under seat compartment uses a different key than the ignition (lock cylinder was lost but replaced with one off another model)

I will include any sv650 parts i have with the auction.  the photos in the ad are a few weeks old.  i will update with new ones and include some of any scratches

Racing vows renewed at Motegi

Mon, 04 Oct 2010

Over the weekend, an aged Japanese racer reacquainted himself with one of his early loves. Celebrating 50 years of Suzuki racing, Mitsuo Ito took his former flame, the RM63, for a trip down memory lane and a lap around the Motegi circuit. The miniscule 50cc race bike was born from the legend of MZ employee Ernst Degner's defection from East Germany to Japan during the early days of the Cold War.
