Moto Guzzi V700 description

Vintage Guzzi V700 in excellent original condition. Very rare 700cc Gilardoni cylinders, so no worries about chrome flaking. Original Dellorto SS1 carbs. Harper's MG solo seat plus matching passenger seat. Original paint with great patina. New tires. Runs and rides great. She is almost 50 but still turns heads wherever she goes. Only selling in order to help finance new vacation/retirement house in AZ.

Frame number: 1674

Engine number: 2009

Guzzi didn't bother to put engines with matching numbers into bikes back then. I have no reason to believe that the engine is not original. I also added a couple of pictures of the pillion seat. The Gilardonis were already in the bike when I bought it. I have no idea when they were installed but probably a long time ago since these 700cc Gilardonis haven't been available for a long time (according to esteemed Guzzisti).

1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.

The Piaggio Group reported a 12.1% decrease in net sales over the opening six months of 2013, the company’s worst first half showing since 2004. Net sales totaled 671.5 million euros (US$891.9 million) over the first six months, compared to 764.1 million euros reported in the same period of 2012. Piaggio still earned a net profit of 25 million euros (US$33.2 million ) in the first half, but that’s a 26.1% drop from last year’s 33.8 million euros.

The Italian concern reported positive sales results for 2019. Over the past year, the brand merger showed a 1.3% increase in sales to 611,300 units, of which 399,600 units (+1.6%) were two-wheeled vehicles. Sales statistics in the Asia-Pacific region improved markedly, with a 14.5 percent increase.
