New Nikasil lined cylinders, new - valves - guides - pistons - bearings - seals - clutch - electrical wiring and components, refinished crank, and rebuild of transmission amp; drive system, brakes..ect... simply this bike is as good as new. There are no dents, dings in the tank and the Borrani aluminum wheels are in terrific shape as is chrome and rubber. This Eldorado came with a 5 gear transmission with standard shift and brake layout. The only part of the bike that was not painted was the gas tank. It was left with the original patina and worn pin striping to give the bike a clean vintage look. Bike starts, runs and handles great, and is ready to be ridden anywhere. A copy of Dave Richardson's quot;Guzziologyquot;, a reference guide to everything Guzzi, is included with the sale, as is the original owners manual, restoration receipts, and shop manual.

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Not to be left out of the 2013 EICMA show announcements, Moto Guzzi has announced its changes for the three models that make up the V7 line. Known for their 1970s-inspired style, the V7s are built, according to Moto Guzzi press materials, “to three fundamental pillars: the 90° transverse V-twin, the timeless double cradle frame and the renowned cardan shaft final drive.” Well, one of these pillars gets a functional update for 2014. The engine now utilizes a wet flywheel instead of the previous dry alternator.
