This gorgeous MV F4 is like brand new. It was part of an extensive motorcycle collection and was hardly ridden. Since obtaining the bike, I have ridden it about 50 miles and it runs and rides without flaw. It is of course very fast and with the 4 cylinder engine and the four exhausts it sounds fantastic when you twist the handlebar. The engine is a 998 cc four developing 174 horsepower at 11,900 RPM. The rev limiter interrupts at 13,000 and that???s when its time to up-shift to the next of 6 gears. Consider this unusual and beautiful motorcycle as your next ride. FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.

Special Edition MV Agusta F3 800 AGO

MV Agusta announced it will produce a new special edition version of the F3 800 honoring the legendary Giacomo Agostini. The F3 800 AGO was originally revealed last fall at EICMA but MV Agusta has now confirmed it will be produced, releasing full details and pricing. The all-time leader in Grand Prix race wins won 13 of his record 15 world titles with MV Agusta, making him a worthy subject for tribute model.

I was interested to see none other than William Dunlop doing some shakedown testing on a very nice MV 675 F3 at Donington recently. The bike appeared failry standard but sounded sweet and looked pretty rapid out on track. Ohlins technician Richard Brendish was gathering information and helping with set up but reckons no definite decision has been made on where we might see MVs racing next year. Back to sensible riding and after dropping in for a brew at Shires Motorcycle Training (Derby) the lovely Emily was telling me if your thinking about taking your bike test (especially if you’re 17) it’s not a bad idea to get it done now.
