2009 KAWASAKI VULCAN 500 LTD EN500 This 500 was just traded-in. It is in fair condition and has low miles 3K. The bike is completely stock. It has been dropped a couple times on each side. The damage is is only cosmetic. The tank has a dent on the right side. The tank emblem is damaged on the left side. The exhaust mufflers both have some scratches on the ends. (see pictures) Nothing is bent or broken. I have detailed and safety checked the bike. I will be installing a new front tire as it has some rot and new front brakes. The rear tire and brakes are fine with the tread on the tire like new and no rot. I have cleaned the carburetors. All the lights, horn and gauges work 100%. I have taken this Vulcan on a reliability run and the engine, clutch and transmission all work and sound as they should. Wed, 10 Apr 2013Kawasaki received four awards including gold medals for Best Venue and Best Cinematography at the New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards for ads featuring the Ninja ZX-6R (636) and the Z800. The New York Festivals have been celebrating the best in television and films for 55 years. This year’s awards, announced at the National Association of Broadcasters Show in Las Vegas, awarded 119 gold medals, 145 silver medals, 10 bronze medals and 327 finalist certificates for entries representing 50 different countries.

Mon, 27 Feb 2012Max Biaggi won the opening race to the 2012 World Superbike Championship while defending champion Carlos Checa came back from a high-speed crash in the first race to win the second at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. Reigning champion Checa of Althea Ducati had a stunning high-side crash while leading on the sixth lap of Race One. The WSBK paddock was already in shock with the death of 17-year-old Oscar McIntyre in the Superstock 600 race the day before but thankfully Checa was not seriously injured.
