Kawasaki Vulcan description

New battery, fuel pump, filters, tires are good, brakes good, nice big cruiser that rides and sounds nice.I bought the front fairing and hardbags and had them painted to match but the guy used a darker grey than the original on the fenders but is hard to tell. Marine stereo and speakers in the fairing are new and they will need hooked up as I didn't get time to do it,also I was riding it recently and it would start choking out and died a couple times,I took it to the local shop and had a new fuel pump and the carb cleaned and adjusted ,long story short it's still doing it,I called the shop and he seems to think its the breather as he told me the oem breather is not all there, just one side of it is  that's causing it to foul out sometimes, I'm just wanting to sell and I'm not interested in purchasing a  new breather I just want to let people know that this is an issue,it's some thing that needs to be fixed although it does run great and is a nice bike.I think if you put an aftermarket breather it would fix it but I'm just speculating. You can call if interested and I can tell you more about it.

Jeremy Toye Wins 92nd Running Of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

On his first attempt at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, road racer Jeremy Toye set a record in the premiere Open Class to win the category aboard a 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R, celebrating the 30th year of the legendary Ninja brand. Prior to setting foot on the hill, Toye was confident he could get among the class leaders, aiming to beat the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record, which was set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a time of 9:52.819. While that record remains intact, Toye was able to set a time of 9:58.687 to win the Open Class, finishing 6sec ahead of his closest rival, Fabrice Lambert aboard a Ducati.

French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.
