Up for bid is a 1983 Kawasaki 750 Spectre. This is the first bike I have ever owned and thoroughly enjoyed it. It does run but needs some starter work and a tune up. It has a 4 cylinder motor. Shaft Drive. It needs some cosmetic repair that I probably should have done when I bought it but did not have the time or expertise to complete. Tires are in decent shape. It has a custom backrest. I have never dropped this bike, but it was purchased used from a dealership who did not have details of previous owners. The front turn signals have been replaced with aftermarket LED signals. The originals were broken. This may make someone a great restore project as the Spectre is not a very common bike. This is also listed locally. Winning bidder is responsible for pick up. WSBK 2013: Magny-Cours Race Report
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.
Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More
Wed, 17 Jul 2013Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.
