Front wheel has a 100/90-19 DUNLOP tire, rear wheel is a 140/90-16 DUNLOP tire, New brake pads, front and rear; both master cylinders have been flushed & have new brake fluid ; new 630 o ring chain and front and rear sprockets; new seat cover;  New carburetor cylinder boots. The carbs have been cleaned & rebuilt.Triple tree bearings have been cleaned & fresh greased. Front & rear wheel bearing have all been cleaned & fresh greased. New front wheel lock & keys. New ignition switch & keys. Front forks have new seals & dust covers & New fork oil. Fresh oil and filter. It has a  Kerker  Megaphone Header that came on this bike in 1978.

Bad things,  No dents, Slight scratch on front right sticker on tank. Paint chips on side covers. Can be seen in pictures. It needs a new battery, After it sits awhile it needs charged to start. Then its fine. So it does need a battery. They only last a few years.

Everything works, and it starts right up. It idles fine. Runs and sounds great.     This bike is 38-years-old, but you won't be disappointed in this Kaw!  It only needs a new battery. ; it's ready to ride. I still ride it every now and then, so it may have a few more miles on it before it's sold. SOLD AS IS/WHERE IS.

2011 Isle of Man TT Recap

Fri, 10 Jun 2011

The Isle of Man TT usually provides a lot of drama, and this year’s event was no different. John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.

Wed, 21 Sep 2011

Kawasaki has released another teaser for its upcoming revised ZX-14, now dubbed ZX-14R. In the first video, a couple of numbers are cryptically displayed: 84 x 65mm. This is a thinly veiled reference to its bore and stroke dimensions, indicating the biggest Ninja received a 4mm stroke elongation, which would bump the bike’s displacement from 1352cc to 1441cc.
