Kawasaki KZ1000 description

Classic 1979 Kawasaki. Runs and rides great. This is the shaft drive model so no chain maintenance or failures. I've had the bike for 6 years and it has never let me down. New LED turn signals, Bridgestone tires, mirrors, and seat. Solid frame and electrical. Well maintained, always garaged, ridden with care and no oil leaks! All original parts and extra set of rims and tires included. Known for the original muscle bike that started the sport bike world (see the movie Mad Max, 1979 release) (Also see on you tube :"Kawasaki kz750 full throttle" -- This is a similar bike, (a 750cc) but shows you what these bikes can do). So if you need a reliable daily driver at 34mpg, or a weekend sport bike that stirs many conversations -- this is it.  Thanks

Australian rider Alan Kempster lost his right arm and leg in 1990 when an intoxicated truck driver crashed into his motorcycle. The accident changed Kempster’s life, but what it did not do was dampen his spirit and his love of racing. The determined Kempster rigged a racebike and returned to the track, not only competing against abled riders, but also winning.
