Polaris Reports Q3 2012 Results
Thu, 18 Oct 2012Polaris reported a record third quarter including a 78% year-on-year increase in on-road vehicle sales, most of which is from Victory Motorcycles. According to the Minnesota company’s third quarter report, Polaris recorded a profit of $94.3 million in the three months ended Sept. 30, 2012, compared to a profit of $67.6 million reported in the same quarter of 2011.
Pre-Polaris Indians Recalled for Cracking Rear Rims
Fri, 30 Aug 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall on various Indian motorcycles from model years 2009 to 2013 because of a risk of the rims cracking. All of the recalled motorcycles were from the old Indian designs before the storied brand was acquired by Polaris Industries. But as the new owners of Indian Motorcycles, Polaris is left with the responsibility of correcting defects from previous designs.
Polaris Announces Internal Restructuring
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Although the changes will not affect the Indian and Victory sales teams, Polaris Industries announced today that it had merged its sales, sales operations, service, corporate marketing and interactive team to form the Global Customer Excellence team. The new organizational structure will be lead by VP of Global Customer Excellence, Tim Larson. Vice President of Global Customer Excellence, Tim Larson.
