For Sale: 1983 Honda VT500FT Ascot project bike and various parts (tanks, fenders, etc.). The VT500 Ascot is a 500cc, V-twin, water cooled, shaft drive motorcycle designed with minimal maintenance in mind. This is the "FT" series (Flat Track styling) which morphed into the 'Shadow' cruiser in 1985. Honda sold these models in the US only in 1983 & 1984 and they've become sought after classics. The Ascot's are torquey, quick, well handling & dependable bikes that are lots of fun to ride. As a middleweight, it's small and nimble enough for urban commuting, and yet large enough for two-up highway rides. It's got a fairly close ration gearbox, plus the addition of an overdrive (sixth) highway gear with an OD indicator on the instruments. AMA Supercross: 2012 Arlington Results

Defending champion Ryan Villopoto won his third consecutive AMA Supercross race in Arlington, Texas, but the victory was overshadowed by a season-ending injury suffered by one of his main challengers Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsport Honda‘s Reed trailed Villopoto in second place for the first six laps at Cowboys Stadium. Disaster struck on Lap 7 however as Reed crashed hard in the whoops.

Honda Teases New 2014 Off-Road Model – Video

American Honda released a video teasing a new 2014 off-road model which will be revealed in May 14. The 2:21 video was shot with an action camera mounted along the top of the swingarm as the mystery model races around a motocross track. The most obvious conclusion is the teaser is for the 2014 Honda CRF450R or CRF250R.
