***1968 Z50 Slantguard in perfect condition!***
Frame Number Z50A-103113 Engine Number Z50A-103288 Folks, this baby has been dwelling in my basement for several years now and has only been hand-cranked a few times a month just to keep the cylinder lubricated. I never intended to sell this one but have relocated to East Tennessee and I don't have a place to store it thats climate controlled. It has to go, hopefully to a high end collector who will care for and appreciate this incredible piece of motorcycle history for what it is. This bike has a very early VIN number that has been verified to match the frame and engine. These slantguards are so rare and difficult to find especially in pristine condition like this one. Its an absolute little cream-puff that deserves to be in a museum, it will be 50 yeasr old in less than 2 years! I took these photos with my phone in flourescent lighting so they didn't come out as good as I had hoped. This bike does not come with a title but I will provide the new owner with a notarized Bill of Sale. Linefork Cycles is now located in East Tennessee... James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing
Fri, 09 Sep 2011Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.

2014 AMA Supercross – Phoenix Results
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto nabbed a hard-earned first victory of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, overcoming a poor start that saw him ninth after the first lap for the win. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
