Honda CL description

1966 Cl 305 Scrambler.
For those of us who know these bikes are increasingly sought after, fun to ride and fun to collect.
I bought this bike just a few months ago here on eBay, mostly because I had one when I was a kid
and wanted to revisit that time in the 70's
I also wanted a bike I didnt have to mess with so I bought this little gem totally restored by a fellow in Wisconsin.
After having the bike for a few months I am finding I have little room to keep it from harm as my garage is quite full
and also because I wanted a bike I could ride all the time, looking this thing over its just to nice for me to kick it down
from a show piece to a daily cruiser so, I decided to sell it.

The original add featured this description;

1966 Honda 305 Scrambler, nut and bolt restoration, all new rubber, engine rebuilt
with Wiseco pistons, electronic ignition. All black parts powder coated, silver parts sprayed. All chrome re-plated, nuts and bolts re-coated, aluminum parts polished.
Runs great. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Buyer pays shipping, cycle will be released when cash is in hand. Clear Wisc Title.
I ended up with over $10,000 in this bike, partly due to the fact I paid too much for the
bike to begin with, but no expense was spared in the restoration, but I think I am realistic as to its value.

That being said I would say I got the bike at a fair value and am looking to pass the bike along with no intention to make money here.
I am also re-posting the original pictures from that add, the bike is still the same only it has about 50 more miles on it.
I look forward to passing the bike along to someone more serious about preserving this bike. John (previous owner) really did a detailed
job at the restoration. Enjoy the ride my friends.

Honda’s New Documentary: Dreams vs Nightmares [trailer]

Wed, 24 Jun 2009

Honda have been releasing video documentaries on… well… everything!  Why?  Well to toot their own horn and remind you that Honda is crazy cool. Actually, their videos aren’t that bad, although somewhat dramatic.  I hunkered down and watched their “Failure: The Secret to Success” video and it held my attention. Their new video is titled “Dreams vs Nightmares”, which features a few notable people such as Clive Barker and Deepak Chopra.  I’m curious to see how they take this theme and use it to show how and why Honda creates and designs the products they make.
