Honda CL description

I am the 3rd owner of this bike. Originally purchased in New Jersey on Aug. 9, 1967 to be used as transportation for college and then he moved to Ohio. The bike still has the original Ohio inspection sticker. I have installed new OEM Dunlap Universal tires and tubes and the tank has been repainted by a former owner. The frame paint is original, the front fender is perfect, the rims are above average, the chrome chain guard has damage, the original tool kit is intact, there is normal blueing on exhaust pipes, the front fork is perfect, the lights all work, the rear fender needs to be rechromed, it needs new air filters and a good tune up. It runs strong, as you would expect. I have copies of the original New Jersey title, the original owners manual, and my Indiana clear title. I would prefer a local pick up.

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

Casey Stoner made his return to the track after missing the first day of the MotoGP pre-season test at Sepang and showed everyone why he deserved the #1 plate. After skipping the first day of the test due to back pain, Stoner was back on the Repsol Honda RC213V and set the top lap time of all riders. Stoner rode 29 laps and set the pace with a lap time of 2:00.895, 0.157 seconds faster than Ben Spies and 0.173 seconds ahead of Jorge Lorenzo.

Johnny Depp causes high-speed crash

Fri, 15 Mar 2013

I can understand that seeing Johnny Depp appear from out of nowhere might be distracting to a rider. Obviously not content with damage caused to the Honda in the video above (as a direct result of his on-track presence) Depp gets on the bike to go for a spin then crashes the bike himself. This is despite his previous Harley riding experience and some crystal clear advice about the 'killer clutch'.

New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014

Fri, 26 Jul 2013

The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.
