Honda CBR description

Selling my 2005 CBR 600 RR Black bullet bike
This is one sleek looking bike with break neck acceleration from the bigger sprockets, will include stock sprockets and chain in package. I get looks and compliments all the time when I'm on it and its great to feel the wind in my face, it always gives me a huge rush.
18.9k miles but still rides like new, well maintained and "babied".

Bought for $4400 - Have done some upgrades and repairs will take $4,000 OBO

Will entertain any "reasonable" offers ($3.5k~ish), not looking for trades.

2nd owner, and I have the title in hand.

Numerous upgrades: Jardine exhaust, solo rear cowl (can inc. stock pass. seat), dark smoke windscreen, oversized front and rear sprockets w/ power commander for faster acceleration or wheelies if your into that sort of thing, tires and rims only about a year old, fender eliminator with incorporated LED brake and turn signals, body mounted front turn signals.

I still have the stock sprockets, chain and rear seat components, if interested in switching something back.

Tires both front and back were both replaced last season. Less than 2k miles on them.

All maintenance done on schedule. Always ran with Premium fuel. Every oil change w/ Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil. All coolant has been flushed and replaced. Brake fluid has been drained and replaced.

Bike has been babied. Always garaged. Never stunted or raced by me, it being my first bike I was too scared, but it is fully capable of doing so. Always garaged in winter and battery was often on a trickle charger.

Few mechanical issues to deal with, just installing the new ignition, tightening the throttle if desired and reapplying the farings, all easy work.

Cosmetically it looks good. Some stickers on the farings and maybe a couple of small scratches from years of use, and the crack in the front faring sealed tight, no road rash. Never laid down.

Any questions please just email.

All serious inquiries will be answered.

Buyer must arrange shipping, pickup or transportation if buyer outside of local area.

Last week, Honda revealed the modern successor to the Z50 “Monkey” bike in the new MSX125. While it’s not clear if the Honda MSX125 will be offered in North America, our original post drew a lot of positive comments from our readers so let’s hope American Honda is paying attention. The 2013 Honda MSX125 will be available in Europe however, and Honda’s European arm has released more photographs of the new model.

2014 WSBK – Assen Results

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.
