Honda CBR description

2008 Honda CBR 600 RR

2008 Honda CBR 600 RR. Second owner. Had around 300-500 miles on it when I purchased in summer of 2011. Now has 1890. Guy I purchased it from bought it new from Harmons Honda in Ironton OH in Oct of 2010 for $9500. Laid it down coming out of his driveway in Nov and put some scratches on left side, broke end off clutch lever and put a couple cracks in plastic. Nothing big. You can see in the pics. I've added aftermarket windscreen, mirrors, license plate holder and fresh battery. Bike is otherwise bone stock. Clear title in hand. Buyer to pay cash in person upon pick up. I will not ship this bike. Please be prepared to pay/pick up bike within 3 days of listings end. Bike is located in Flatwoods, KY. Message me if you'd like to arrange to come see bike in person prior to purchase. No joy rides as I only have liability insurance. I reserve the right to end listing at any time as bike is also for sale locally

Rossi Wins at Assen, but Lorenzo Is the Hero; Alpinestars Releases Crash Data

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

There’s only one thing left to say about Jorge Lorenzo’s 124 mph crash during a rainy practice session last Thursday while warming up for the TT Assen: It could have been a lot worse. The images are horrific, but thanks to groundbreaking protective gear, Lorenzo walked away with only a collarbone fracture and a heck of a tale to tell. Today, Alpinestars released a trace graph analysis of Lorenzo’s spill, thanks to data collected from his TechAir airbag suit.

Honda Zoomer X Prototype – New Ruckus Concept Revealed in Thailand

Wed, 28 Mar 2012

Honda Thailand unveiled a new prototype at the 2012 Bangkok International Motor Show showcasing the next generation of the Ruckus scooter. Known as the Zoomer in other markets, the Honda Ruckus is probably best known for its non-traditional scooter styling, with the usual tiny tires and wasp-like body replaced by a fat rubbers and exposed tube frame. The Honda Zoomer X maintains the original’s rugged-looking tires but instead of the exposed tubes, the Zoomer X has a boxy-looking structure, though like the original the space under the seat is exposed to the elements, so if you want to store something there you might have to break out the bungee cords.

PJ Jacobsen to Make World Supersport Debut at Assen

Wed, 11 Apr 2012

New York native P.J. Jacobsen has been called up to replace injured racer Pawel Szkopek to race at the Assen round of the 2012 World Supersport Championship for the Bogdanka PTR Honda team. Jacobsen, 18, was originally announced as part of PTR’s six-member WSS team in December but funding issues saw him dropped in favor of Jules Cluzel before the season started in March.
