1983 Honda Cb on 2040-motos
Honda CB tech info
Honda CB description
Rare Opportunity! This is a 1983 (only year available in the USA) CB1100F. This bike was in storage for an extended period of time but has been recomissioned and is ready to be enjoyed. Because of the bike's rarity, they have been appreciating rapidly since they really are the best of the CB series Honda brought into the USA. This is the Blue/White US version as shown in the pictures. The original pipes did have the baffles removed but the black chrome is in reasonable shape. Has an aftermarket storage rack fitted which is very sturdy and makes the bike more useful for the longer trips. Ready to be enjoyed by the next owner, shipping can be arranged but costs are for the buyer, I can deliver within 100 miles for $50. I will also be at Barber Motorsports Park in October and could take the bike there too. |

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results
Mon, 06 Jan 2014KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
