Up for sale is a Ducati 250 Monza Project
Posted are many photos to show what comes with this auction. It does not have a title (had to put something in, to list this so I checked off Salvage) There is NO TITLE, just a bill of sale. The frame, tank and other items have a primer paint. The rims are alloy and the spokes shown are not correct for wheel size. The engine has already been reconditioned and a copy of the bill is show. Look at the cost and the date when this was done. From the information I was given the engine was bench tested. I am not interested in shipping as that would be a project in it's self. Local pick up is what I am hoping for. Will include a bill of sale as a machine of this age, there is not title. Please look at photos and ask questions before bidding. Best of Luck! WSBK: 2011 Utah Results
Tue, 31 May 2011Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.
Provisional 2012 Superstock 1000 Cup Entry List Released – Six Ducati 1199 Panigale Entries Included
Mon, 13 Feb 2012The international Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released a provisional entry list for the 2012 Superstock 1000 Cup. Though it has yet to be included on the official FIM homologation list, the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale is listed six times, representing three different teams. The 1199 is expected to be added to the entry list this month, as homologation is all but a formality at this point for the most anticipated sportbike of the year.
848 Challenge heads to Holland
Thu, 12 May 2011This weekend sees riders and teams heading across the North Sea to the famous Assen TT circuit for Round 2 of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge. After two stunning opening races at Brands Hatch BSB three weeks ago, the expectation is that the racing will be similarly closely fought and exciting at the historical home of bike racing. Leon Morris left Brands with a double win, continuing his strong form from last season and will no doubt be the man to beat in Assen, while Darren Fry, the current Champion, will hope for better luck this weekend after breaking his coccyx at Brands Hatch in a heavy crash. But the Buildbase/JHP Ducati team-mates will be wary of the challenge from Mike’Spike’ Edwards (MSKWorks.com), who will be riding his upgraded Ducati 848EVO for the first time this weekend, and Mark Cheetham (Shorrocks Motorcycles) and Kenny Gilbertson (Art of Racing/Boast Plumbing) who were the main challengers for podium finishes three weeks ago.
