Ducati Monster description
2011 Ducati Monster 696 for sale title in hand, come check this awesome bike out!
This bike has been amazing, unfortunately I'm planning to get another bike that is more comfortable for the wife. I've owned this bike since mile 300 and have had ZERO problems, it's been an absolute dream. Rear tire was replaced within the last 1000 miles. I had the headlight powder coated black because it looks way better! Brakes and oil were just done as well. I've got the owners manual, both keys, and the windscreen if you want to put that back on. 50 mpg and you get to fast, what else do you need? |

Ducati Issues Rear Brake Recall for Several 2012 Models
Tue, 08 May 2012Ducati is issuing a recall on several 2012 models because of a problem with the rear brake. The models included are the 848 EVO, the Streetfighter 848, the Hypermotard 796, the ABS-equipped versions of the Multistrada 1200, and the Monsters 796 and 1100 EVO. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the friction material on the rear brake pads may detach from the backing plate, resulting in a drop in rear braking efficiency and increased stopping distance.
2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Recall Expands to US
Wed, 20 Jun 2012As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale following a similar recall in Canada. The recall affects all versions of the sportbike, including the base 1199 Panigale, 1199 Panigale S and the 1199 Panigale S Tricolore. Ducati is recalling the Panigale because a “non-compliant” screw may have been used to attach the rear suspension linkage to the swingarm.
848 Challenge: Official race report, Snetterton 300
Mon, 28 May 2012Mike Edwards put a disappointing start to the season behind him with a win and a second place at Round Three of the Ducati 848 Challenge at the Snetterton BSB weekend. With a gritty ride to victory in Race One and a late charge to third in Race Two, Edwards (Ohlins @ P&H Motorcycles) managed to keep his championship hopes alive following a run of uncharacteristic crashes at the last two rounds. Edwards said before Race One that he was going for a “win it or bin it” attitude this weekend as he desperately needed to make up the points he missed out on at Assen.
