Much to my dismay, I have decided to sell my 2012 Monster 696. I simply don't ride it enough and feel bad letting it sit so much. I am the second owner and purchased the bike in early 2013 with 2,300 miles on it. I will be completely honest too - the bike was low-sided once in 2013 shortly after I bought it. There was no engine or frame damage, and all repairs were made by the Ducati dealer here in town. The rear swing arm was scraped up for a couple inches on the underside, which I cleaned and painted, and that is the only remaining visible flaw from the accident. The little maintenance since then has been performed by the same dealer or 2Topia cycles here in Charlotte. I think I performed 1 oil change myself and that's it. I have all the maintenance records too. Details: 2012 model with ABS with 4,900 miles Termignoni exhaust Bar end mirrors Competition Werkes fender eliminator kit Swing Arm Sliders (for a rear stand) All original parts (except exhaust) will be included if you would like them. I managed to scuffle my way to the front and even though the handlebar grips were dripping with other people's excited hand secretions, it was a pleasant experience.

Wed, 13 Jun 2012Audi‘s purchase of Ducati is still waiting for regulatory approval but that hasn’t stopped the two companies from taking advantage of their impending union. Audi will make its presence known at the upcoming World Ducati Week celebrations, June 21-24 at the newly-renamed Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The German automaker will supply a range of cars to Ducati staff and management during World Ducati Week, and show off some of its high-end models such as the S6, S8 and the Audi R8 LMS (pictured above).
