Ducati Monster description

2005 Ducati Monster S4R in red with white racing stripe and white wheels. Motorcycle is in great shape and runs strong with the 996 motor. The bike is mostly stock except for the mirrors and open clutch cover. Tires and brakes are in good condition. There is one small dent in the radiator as seen in the pictures. It was there when I bought the bike almost four years ago and has no effect on the bike. Additionally, some minor road wear on the front fender as seen in the pictures. I've accumulated too many toys so I'm downsizing a bit. I also have all of the keys to the motorcycle. Bike is occasionally ridden, so miles may increase slightly. Clean title in hand. Auction may end early if bike is sold locally (Fayetteville area, NC). No RESERVE. Will assist with shipping if necessary.

This is one trashed 1199 Panigale

Tue, 24 Apr 2012

This is what a destroyed Ducati 1199 Panigale looks like, after South African superbike racer Chris Leeson lost the front end at turn one of the Kyalami circuit. Although the same can't be said for the new and now mangled Ducati superbike, Leeson escaped the crash with minor bruising. Crash sequence below.

Motorcycle Riding Creates Bug Art

Fri, 23 Jan 2009

Being an artist, A.D. Maddox (pictured above) believed that all of the dead bugs accumulated on her leather jacket while riding her motorcycle were going to waste and could lead to an artistic endeavor. Her creative solution?  Slap on a painting to the front of her Ducati and bring her art to another level.

So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet

Tue, 20 Jul 2010

RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.
