Buell Lightning description

I have owned this Buell for two years and unfortunately it is time to sell it to finish my masters degree. It has been a great bike. Jardine exhaust, ORION mirrors, k&n air filter, LED tail light with built in turn signals, exhaust is heat wrapped, gloss black powder coated wheels, practically brand new michelin pilot power tires with less than 500 miles on them. 1200cc five speed, excellent handling. 24k miles on the odometer. I am asking $4500, but welcome and am willing to negotiate any justifiably reasonable offers. Title in hand. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime due to it being for sale locally.

A Man of LOVE

Fri, 24 Oct 2008

I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).

Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

New EBRs Rolling Down The Assembly Line

Tue, 31 Dec 2013

On its Facebook page recently, EBR posted this picture of what are presumably 1190RX models in the first four stations of the assembly line. While maybe not Earth shattering news, it is uplifting to see Erik Buell back in business, with models we can’t wait to ride in the new year. From the photo we can see the 1200cc V-Twin engines in place, with swingarms mounted.
