BMW R-Series description

I bought this bike with 11k on it back in 2010, most all of the miles are on road freeway miles, it runs great, no oil burn, fresh valve adjustment, BMW just did a service update free and replaced the fuel pump, it pulls very strong, Custom Paint (matte anthracite grey), new wheel bearings in front, freshly tuned and balanced wheel by Woodys wheel works in CO. Have rebuild-able Wilbur shocks both front and rear on it, pivot pegz, new tires, throttle lock cruise control and mechanically works great. The brake warning light that has been on for over a year with no problem to the braking or operation of the bike, the BMW service tech just said it seems to be a wire possibly cracked as upon test is shows the ignition key security ring as the test fault. Brake servos work as they should, just have the light.   Bike comes as seen in photos, has clear title and has just been paid on CA. registration.  A clean bike with lots of life left in her.

BMW R nineT from the 1950s

Mon, 24 Nov 2014

The Italian division of BMW invited local custom workshops to work on a new R nineT roadster. Representatives of a young studio Officine Sbrannetti were the first to respond, proposing a project for the reincarnation of the legendary BMW RS54 Rennsport. R nineT was the seventh project of the company, which began its existence about two years ago.

2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
