BMW R-Series description
Very clean and fully serviced classic 1989 BMW R100RT. Complete with set of BMW hard bags, perfect Corbin dual seat with backrest, Brembo dual front disc brakes, tubeless aluminum alloy wheels and Brown Currier side stand. There is a smallish crack and paint chip in the fairing by the right side mirror and a minor scuff in the rear cowl as shown in photos. This bike presents and runs very well as an air-cooled twin with so few miles should. All fluids have been changed, valves adjusted, carbs synchronized and abundant tread left in both tires. Pick it up and enjoy the New England fall foliage on your ride home!

2015 BMW R1200GS Receives Minor Update and New Options
Fri, 04 Jul 2014The liquid-cooled BMW R1200GS receives a slight tweak for 2015 along with new optional quick shifter and keyless ignition system. The Adventure version also gets these new options as well as new choices to lower the seat height. The 2015 GS receives the heavier crankshaft introduced on the 2014 R1200GS Adventure and R1200RT.
BMW Sales Down 2.3% in First Half of 2012 but Record Finish Still Predicted
Fri, 06 Jul 2012BMW predicts a record year for motorcycle sales despite a 2.3% dip over the first six months. The first half of 2012 saw BMW sell 59,189 units, down from the 60,580 units reported for the same period in 2011. The decrease is primarily because of a 13.2% drop in sales in June.

It’s pretty interesting to see the way a Evo and Twin Cam V twin Harley Davidson engine works. He also has up the crazy BMW flat twin R100 motorcycle engine which seems more complicated then an engine should be!
