Original California bike with 21k original miles completely restored-customized from the bare frame with everything either repaired, modified or replaced from the smallest washer, nut, bolt, etc., to the largest part.

Engine gone through with all parts replaced as necessary. With so few miles on engine there was virtually no wear found, nevertheless new piston rings were replaced together with a high performance valve job was performed. All new gaskets fitted.

Beautiful BMW exhaust system with great chrome, solid as can be. Sounds great and not too loud.

Engine has the very rare 2 spark plugs per cylinder electronic ignition system. Extra 7 horsepower from this alone.

Wheels were rebuilt with new stainless steel spokes and fitted with new 4.50-18 Coker tires with the vintage tread pattern.

New custom front and rear fenders with custom brackets.
New custom leather seat mounted with a spring/shock system that provides a very nice ride, better than stock I would say.

The Thai facility is BMW’s first wholly-owned motorcycle assembly plant outside of Germany, though the company does share facilities in Manaus, Brazil with local manufacturer DAFRA Motos.
