2012 BMW F800ST, This is a great Lupin Blue/Sapphire F800ST with only 1,100 miles. The factory build consists of:- ABS- clear turn indicators- heated grips- on-board computer- center stand- side cases- sport seatAfter taking it in we performed a safety inspection and found the rear tire had a puncture so we replaced the rear tire. The bike also needed a new battery (replaced it with a BMW battery) and we completed a 600 mile service. If you are looking for a near flawless and serviced ST this one has to be considered. Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
Michael Dunlop to Race for BMW at 2014 Isle of Man TT
Wed, 12 Feb 2014BMW Motorrad UK has signed seven-time winner Michael Dunlop to race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and other international road races. Dunlop will be the first factory-backed BMW rider in 50 years, and will try to be the first rider to win a TT race on a BMW since Georg Meier won in 1939 on a RS 255 Kompressor. Dunlop, nephew of the great Joey Dunlop, was the star of the 2013 Isle of Man TT, winning four races and finishing second in the Senior TT on Honda machines.
