Paul James To Start His 20th Consecutive Road Racing Season At Daytona

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

Paul James isn’t just another Harley-Davidson employee, he’s one helluva fast rider. For 2014, James will be suiting up for his 20th consecutive season of road racing as he pilots his James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing Harley-Davidson XR1200 for the AMA Pro Racing Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series season opener at Daytona International Speedway. And he brings with him a new sponsor and a continued relationship with the VETMotorsports program.

James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing will again be partnering with VETMotorsports to increase outreach to wounded combat veterans. The VETMotorsports mission is to honor and empower disabled combat veterans through active participation in motorsports with post 9-11 wounded combat veterans serving as embedded members of the team throughout the 2014 AMA Pro Racing season.

Joining James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing as a presenting sponsor in 2014 is N.E.W. Industries, which provides CNC production machined parts and weldments as well as complete secondary services to top O.E.M. manufacturers in the U.S. and abroad. Long time presenting sponsor Spectro Oils continues with the team and highlighted the relationship in their most recent product catalog http://www.spectro-oils.com/catalog.

Travis Blasier, a former CCS and supermoto racer and the owner of Blasier Performance, will serve as crew chief for the team. Dan Koester and Ben Schmidt will provide at the track mechanical support.
