Yamaha dt tech info
Yamaha dt description
Unrestored truly beautiful 1977 Yamaha DT 2540 Monoshock. Starts very easily, has great compression, shifts perfectly, clutch works correctly tight engine!. While is does look really sharp, cosmetically it is not perfect. the plastic has spots that are fading, the left side cover is missing ( I have ordered reproduction panels that will go with the bike ) Tires are almost new with 95%+ tread. A new set of mirrors is on the way and will go with the bike. 4) sometimes the speedometer works fine, sometimes the needle swings all over 5) the Tachometer does not move. I am not sure if it needs a cable or?? |

AMA Superbike Racer Larry Pegram To Race On Four Wheels This Weekend
Thu, 08 Aug 2013Foremost Insurance/Pegram Racing SuperBike rider Larry Pegram will be back in racing action this weekend but, instead of being aboard his familiar #72 Yamaha YZF-R1 SuperBike, Larry will be behind the wheel of a PRO Buggy sponsored by RealTree Outdoor Energy Drink. The PRO Buggy class features rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive, purpose-built racing buggies with lots of suspension travel and lots of horsepower. Pegram is no stranger to car racing, having done a few road racing events last year, but he’s excited about the opportunity to kick up some mud this weekend at RedBud MX in Buchanan, MI, as part of The Off-Road Championship (TORC) series.
Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.
