Bike was Jason Lawrence's 2010 Race Bike. Jason won the 250 AMA Supercross Championship in 2009 and this was his race bike for the 2010 Season. When I got the bike it had the #1 plate on it. Title is still in Jason's name. Too many extras to list. Transmission was Factory Yamaha and cost Jason $10,000 alone for it. Look at pics and you can see the little factory touches. The Yamaha factory rider was the overall leader after a dry morning practice session. The afternoon was rainy however, creating slippery conditions.
Rossi 'training' at his MotoRanch
Mon, 30 Jan 2012Like Kenny Roberts, Valentino Rossi has got his own ranch where he has built his own private motocross track and dirt oval. The above YouTube video shows Rossi training on the flat-track circuit that makes up his 'MotoRanch' located near his home town of Tavullia. He's shown riding a Yamaha, but that's probably because Ducati don't have themselves a scrambler.
