I am selling this 2002 YZF600R with 23404 miles. Bike runs good and is ready to ride. New Michelin tires. New paint on fairings. There is scratching on the crank case cover and left hand mirror. Also a small dent and scratch on muffler. The paint on this bike is excellent! The bike has never been laid down since I have owned it. It runs straight and starts right up, engine sounds good and does not have any valve chatter. I took this bike on trade to get rid of some jet skis that I had. I have ridden the bike a good bit and so has a friend of mine who has numerous motorcycles and he will attest to the quality of this bike. Clear title in hand. Kenny Roberts R1 Auction Nets $87,000 for Charity
Mon, 22 Aug 2011The one-off GYTR-equipped Yamaha YZF-R1 ridden by “King” Kenny Roberts at this year’s U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca was auctioned for $87,000. Roberts and late night television star Jay Leno were the special guest auctioneers for the R1 at Mecum’s Motorcycle Auction in Monterey, Calif.

Tue, 06 Sep 2011Danny Eslick won his second career AMA Daytona Sportbike Championship, adding another #1 plate to the one he won in 2009. The Geico Powersports RMR Suzuki GSX-R600 rider won three races this season and added another five podium finishes to win the title by a 275-256 margin over Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Herrin. Eslick clinched the title after finishing sixth in the first race of the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park.
