Regretfully selling my 2014 Yamaha R6 with only 9477 miles on the odometer. I bought the bike new in 2014 with a maintenance plan from the dealer which has done all scheduled maintenance on it. I have the paperwork from the service department to prove this. The bike is in excellent shape both mechanically and cosmetically. The pictures speak for themselves. THE BIKE HAS THE FOLLOWING UPGRADES -Full M4 exhaust system including headers. Sounds very good and makes excellent power -K&N Air filter -Power Commander tuned by Yamaha of Cool Springs -Yoshimura Rear fender eliminator -Frame Sliders -HID Headlights -HotBodies Racing Smoked windscreen -Short Brake and clutch levers -Carbon Fiber Vinyl mirrors -Carbon Fiber Vinyl Tank protector -Carbon Fiber Vinyl Gas Cap trim (all pictured) The bike makes nearly 20 more hp TO THE WHEEL than a stock R6. It is very fast. I have the dyno sheets to prove this. There is nothing wrong with this bike. I am selling it in order to go back to school this fall without too much debt. Day 4 Dakar 2014: Juan Pedrero Wins Stage Aboard Sherco
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Stage 4 of the 2014 Dakar saw Juan Pedrero take his maiden victory aboard a Sherco SR 450 Rally. Although not in contention for the overall, Pedrero showed he has outgrown his previous role as Marc Coma’s lieutenant at KTM by bringing his Sherco across the finish line 3:10 faster than third place Coma and 29 seconds faster than second place finisher Francisco Lopez. Coma’s performance in today’s stage moved him to only 3:10 behind overall leader Joan Barreda.
2014 World Supersport Provisional Entry List
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Supersport Championship, with 23 riders including two to be announced at a later date. The provisional lists includes riders representing four different manufacturers: Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta and Yamaha. Honda is the most popular manufacturer with ten riders (though two are listed as TBA).
AMA Supercross: 2012 Houston Results
Mon, 02 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has captured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship with a dominating performance at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer took the lead early in the race after passing holeshot-taker Davi Millsaps on the opening lap. Villopoto would lead the rest of the way for his eighth win of the season.
