2009 Yamaha Yzf-R1 , For Sale is a 2009 Yamaha R1. I'm currently the second owner of this bike. This bike is in excellent condition. Modifications include Hotbodies tinted visor, integrated Smoked LED turn-signal mirrors, Flush mount Smoked LED side lights, Power Commander V, Wired battery tender, Voo-Doo exhaust, integrated turn-signal smoked LED tail light, and rear-fender eliminator kit with LED tag lights. I also have all of the stock parts that came off of the bike including the brand new factory under tail exhaust, visor, rear fender, and lights. Yamaha Pro Am madness, the best one make championship ever?
Sat, 18 Dec 2010I’m biased of course, but the best one make road race championship has to be the Yamaha RD 350LC Pro Am series. Back in the days when manufacturers had spare cash (1980 to be precise), Mitsui Yamaha organised this televised championship at major British race meetings to promote the recently launched, and now iconic, Yamaha RD350LC. Twenty four riders (twelve established and twelve rookies) were chosen by a panel of experts then given a completely free season of racing with a very generous prize fund thrown in.
Monster Yamaha Tech3 Garage Catches Fire at Circuit of the Americas
Thu, 18 Apr 2013The Tech3 MotoGP team put the Circuit of the Americas‘ emergency systems to the test after a small fire broke out in the team’s garage. Tech3 says the fire should not affect its participation in this weekend’s Grand Prix of the Americas race. The fire, which ignited some time overnight, was quickly doused by COTA‘s sprinkler system.

Only owning perforated summer gloves is also far from ideal. This is the situation I found myself in and seeing as everything in Italy costs a million Euros, I wasn’t prepared to spend a fortune on a set of discontinued Oxford heated grips from the local motocross shop. A very pretty girl called Fanny at Chitrrai Yamaha, near Perugia, showed me the winter glove options.
