Yamaha YZF-R description

I am the 2nd owner of this beautiful 2005 Yamaha R1.  Adult ridden by original owner for 2,002 miles and I have ridden it just over 500 miles. NEVER dropped or ridden hard. I am only selling because I bought another bike.  Mileage may go up as I intend to ride the bike on occasion.

Two tasteful upgrades - "muffler hot body kit" / fender eliminator with integrated turn signals (sounds AMAZING!), and a Corbin seat. Everything else is original and in nearly flawless condition. There are only a couple minor blemishes and you have to look really hard to even see them. You will not be disappointed!!

Brand new battery. I have the original seat, tail light / fender and exhaust if buyer wants them.

Serious inquiries only. Cash or certified funds only. No trades. No joy rides.

I still own money on the bike and the title is at my credit union. I will only release bike when lien is paid in full at my credit union and I can transfer title at that time.

Lorenzo Signs Two-Year Extension with Yamaha

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

Two-time MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has signed a contract extension with Yamaha to see him race on the company’s factory team through the 2016 season. The signing comes as no real surprise, following similar two-year contract extensions for teammate Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. Ducati also confirmed it would field Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone next season, so unless Lorenzo wanted to spend a season or two developing Suzuki‘s or Aprilia‘s new prototypes, Lorenzo’s only option for a factory ride was to re-sign with Yamaha.

Yamaha Champions Riding School Sold Out June 9 & 10

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

It took more than a year for the Yamaha Champions Riding School to sell out at its former location of Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah. Since its return at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the school has sold out in less than a half of season. There are any number of reasons this could be the case.

A MotoGP rep for under £100?

OK, so it's only for kids, but the new Yamaha M1 WGP 50th Anniversary Balance Bike is still quite cool. Aimed at kids between 2 and 6 years old, it's the same Kiddimoto superbike design that's been around for a few years, and costs the same as the standard Kiddimoto. Which means you effectively get the special graphics and Yamaha branding free of charge.
